Converted Corn Mill for Sale: Lupton, Cumbria

A Grade II Listed (I’m not going out of my way to find Grad II listed buildings) converted corn mill for sale overlooking mill pond with a river running through the gardens.

It was bought lying derelict by the current owners and carefully rebuilt and converted. Now ready for some cosmetic updating this is an opportunity to put your own stamp on a piece of history and  create a beautiful house in a beautiful setting.

Outside there’s a double garage with bathing platform (?) attached to the back as it borders an impressive 0.39 acre mill pond. At the far end is a boathouse and summer house. The gardens  offer a mix of formal and informal, lightly wooded in places with ‘Lupton Beck’ forming the southern border. In all, it has around 1.35 acres.

There is a cobbled parking area to the front of the property, garden with mill stone with Lupton Mill carving. Double garage (6.03m x 5.9m [19’9 x 19’5]) to the rear over the mill pond with a small wooden jetty.
